This is the newest route to Zanskar from Manali which was opened only in 2019, it gives you opportunity to Explore Zanskar from Manali and you can also exit to Manali after exploring Zanskar.

blankDay 1. Manali to Jispa via Aatal tunnel, you will have well furnished tunnel, after crossing the tunnel you will reach Sisu which has beautiful waterfall.
Day 2. Jispa to Purney via Shingku la and Gonbo Rangjon which is one the holy mountain for all the Zanskari people.
Day 3. Purney to Phuktal which is one of scared place in Zanskar which is perched by holy cave on the right side of Tsarap river, subsequently trek to Purney and then drive to Padum.
Day 4. After breakfast to Zangla, at Zangla you will be visiting Zangla palace, where famous Hungarian scholar Coma de Cros spent one year in the beginning of 1830s to study Tibetan, Zangla nunnery, Stongdey monastery and Karsha monastery in the evening session.
Overnight stay at Padum.
Day 5. After breakfast drive to Rangdum via Sani lake, Drang drung Glacier which is largest glacier in India after Siachen glacier easily view from road side from the view point and Penzila pass (4401 meters/16000feet).
Overnight stay in Swiss tent.
120 km- 5/6 hours.
Day 6. Rangdum to Padum, Returning back to Padum via same route.
115 km-5/6 hours.
Day 7. After breakfast proceed to Manali via same route via Shinkua la pass, which is the highest point in your trip at the elevation of 17500 feet which you have already crossed on day 2, subsequently through Lahual valley and eventually via Aatal tunnel to reach Manali.
230 km. 7/8hours.
Day 8. Head to various cities like chandigarh,Delhi or Amritsar with your own.
